0. Mission of the list

Despite there being no active organizing group at this time,
messages in soliarity with this mission are welcome on the list:

The uproot collective is working towards a cooperative and
dignified world, where people and communities control their own
destinies and where we reclaim our personal power. That world
begins in our own communities. We foster and nurture projects to
resist and replace oppressive systems and relationships. We are
non-hierarchical, egalitarian, feminist and offer a safe space
for collaboration, autonomy, and mutual aid.

1. Who can send messages

Only subscribers can send e-mail to the uproot e-mail list.
Messages from non-subscribers may be lost.

2. Announcing a meeting or event

Send an e-mail to uproot@uproot.info with the words
"announcement" or "announce" or "announcing" in the subject.

3. Sending messages other than announcements (e.g., discussion)

Send an email to uproot@uproot.info without the words
"announcement" or "announce" or "announcing" in the subject.

4. Discussing announcements

Remember that every e-mail with "announce" in the subject will be
received by announcement-only subscribers. Please make a judgement
whether your e-mail is likely to be helpful for them or not.

To clarify an announcement, reply to the announcement e-mail message
normally, with the "announce" word intact in its subject.

To offer concerns, ask questions, or for any other discussion,
either reply to the announcement email REMOVING THE WORD "announce"
FROM THE SUBJECT, or start with a fresh e-mail message which is not
    a reply to the announcement.
